Bathroom Style Trends – Modern Bathroom Design – Part 4 of 4

In Part 1 and Part 2 of Bathroom Stylistic Trends we looked at “minimalist” bathroom design and “period” bathroom design respectably. In Part 3 we talked about contemporary bathroom design and now in Part 4 we jump into “modern” bathroom stylistic trends. Bathroom Style Trends – “Contemporary” Bathroom Design – Part 3 of 4

In part 1 and part 2 of Bathroom Stylistic Trends we looked at “minimalist” bathroom design and “period” bathroom design. In part 3 we will divulge into the stylistic arena of contemporary bathroom design, which tries to incorporate art with engineered design. Contemporary bathroom design like minimalist bathroom design is based upon simple, frequently stylized geometric shapes and forms but unlike minimalist design which strives for simplicity and the optimum interaction of objects in space, contemporary bathroom style has no such limitations. Bathroom Style Trends – “Period” Bathroom Design – Part 2 of 4

In part 1 of Bathroom Stylistic Trends we examined minimalist bathroom design, that style being personified by gleaming white fixtures and near pristine white walls with white floors and simple fixture shapes. We discovered that style is not only a feeling but it is how your bathroom looks as well. We also found out that choosing materials and designing your bathroom go hand in hand together. When we think of the term “period” we are referring to the stylistic trends of a certain point in time, an example being the 1930’s or 1980’s fashionable taste in furniture, architectural features, colors, textures, materials and decor.
