Rolling Razor Unique Bathroom Gift Review
When I first saw the Rolling Razor I had to ask myself, is this for real or is this just another promotional gimmick to sell razors? I mean after all, men and women have been shaving, like forever and pretty much all that can be done with shavers has already been done, right? How could the Rolling Razor hope to revolutionize the shaving market with a razor that looks like a very large engagement ring or a fly new piece of trendy jewellery? Unless they could eliminate skin irritation and give you a bit more control in those curved and tight hard to shave places on your face and body. Well someone must have been rubbing the razor genie because for the most part your wish has come true.
First let’s look at the innovative handle of the Rolling Razor. The handle is just the right size, quite nice looking and well designed. It has just the right grip and if you loosely put just the tip of your finger in the ribbed inner circle, you can successfully "roll" the razor using the protruding rubber exterior grips. It sounds awkward but it actually feels natural. Just don’t stick your finger too far inside the loop of rubber because it may hinder the rolling motion. For some users the design of the razor may be a bit too much of a departure from the traditional stick shavers but with a little practice you may even begin to like it.

Now on to the blades: The Rolling Razor is designed to be used with quick up and down strokes like a paint brush promoting a more natural motion when shaving. And due to the fact that only one of the three uniquely curved blades is on your skin at a time, (therefore eliminating the lift and pull effect of other triple blade razors), the Rolling Razor does actually provide a fairly smooth shave that may offer an irritation free shave for those with sensitive skin. And what is interesting is that the design of the Rolling Razor prevents you from applying too much pressure when shaving. And for those who shave their heads, this razor is perfect. Now having said that, I must admit trying to put on the blades was a little confusing because your natural instinct is to press both releases knobs in conjunction, when in reality you must press one at a time to release the blades and frequent clogging of the blades does reduce performance slightly.

I must admit the Rolling Razor is not a bad little razor and it does have a good line of companion shaving products to go with it. And while you can only purchase the Rolling Razor and replacement blades online, they do offer a free shipping program that you can cancel at any time. The closeness of the shave was above average but not phenomenal, yet it was fairly close and comfortable. If you like to try new gadgets and innovative technology then go ahead and try one out. It’s a good compact razor that does what it’s supposed to do; it just does it in a new novel way with cutting edge design. Heck buy one or two and give them away as presents, I’m sure the receiver will appreciate the originality of this unique bathroom gift.
