Looks can be Deceiving at First Glance
Many things in life can be deceiving at first glance. For instance when you first meet a person they may come off like the nicest funniest care giving person in the world until a situation arises and their true colors are shown.
Or you just came across this wicked one time deal on re-furnishing your home for cheap, to find that you wasted your hard earned cash on no good furniture. When you hear the word ‘deceived’ I’m sure just negative situations pop up in your mind but that is not always so.
For example take Laurie Hickson Smith, an interior designer off of the hit decorating show Trading Spaces.
After watching a few episodes with her being one of the two designers picked for the housing project, you would come to the conclusion that Laurie extremely hates ceiling fans. It appears that they disgust her and she can’t stand the sight of them because she always gets rid of them when really she actually likes ceiling fans… I KNOW!
Who would have guessed, certainly not me. She actually has four ceiling fans in her own home in Jackson, Mississippi. Quite misleading if I do say so myself.
Keeping Your Bath Ventilated and Dry
But on the topic of ceiling fans my fellow BathroomGuru’s I would like to remind you that a bathroom ceiling fan is an important part of your homes ventilation system. They play an important role in removing moisture which decreases the level of humidity, thus preventing mold growth.
If your fan and light switch are integrated then make sure you leave your fan going long enough after taking a shower or bath to make sure all the moisture is exhausted because over time it will develop into a problem.
Maybe even to an extent where it is un-healthy for your family. Or if you plan to renovate your bathroom in the near future you may want to incorporate an electric timer into the mix.
