The New Re-branded Buildex 2009 down at the BMO Convention Centre, Stampede Grounds
Hey everyone this is Anthony Mclean from the Bathroomguru Review. I just came back from the 10th Annual Buildex Convention down at the Stampede grounds in the building formerly known as the Roundup Centre; now distinguished as the BMO Convention Centre, in Calgary, Alberta. With over 250 exhibits, Buildex Calgary is Alberta’s largest annual tradeshow and conference for Designing, Building and Managing Real Estate. It is touted as the place to be for those wishing to discover the newest trends, products and educational sessions for the construction, renovation and design industry in Alberta. What is interesting about this show is that the separate trade show venues of Buildex, Construct and Design Trends have now been re-branded under one umbrella as Buildex.
Unfortunately due to my unprecedented schedule I was unable to attend during the day but was fortunate enough to head down to the meet and greet after hours session where I was able to mingle with some of Calgary’s construction and business royalty and in the process was able to squeeze in a few interviews with three vendors in emerging bathroom trending fields. Each interview is over ten minutes long and takes a closer look at these areas of bathroom stylistic materials that you should be aware of. From hardwood in the bathroom, to the concrete invasion, to a new innovative green manufactured quartz based surface material, these interviews are insightful and chocked full of useful information by professionals in the industry. So stay tuned and take note of these latest trends that are sure to impress you with the latest materials, technologies and products.

I actually meant to check out that convention this year but i missed the opportunity. I know it happens annually but do you know about when each year? I don’t want to miss it next year.
