Creating an Eco Friendly Bathroom Floor Using Sustainable Flooring Products!

We are all aware about depleting natural resources and the polluting of our environment, so we really don’t have to get into the benefits of going green when renovating your bathroom. Choosing to refinish your bathroom floor using eco friendly sustainable flooring products is a sensible choice to make and it is not surprising that manufacturers are providing eco-friendly building product alternatives for homeowners living environments. These days going green doesn’t have to be a big investment. Eco friendly flooring should not only be made from natural materials but should be durable, recyclable and long lasting as well. The Seasons Green Bathroom Trends and What it Means to You!

I recently just read an article entitled “How to wear the season’s trends. Though the article didn’t have anything to do with bathrooms, what stuck in my head was a line offering a piece of advice which said: “No matter how odd an item looks on the shelf or hanger, try it anyway. You might be surprised how much you like it.” Sometimes we are so uptight or stuck in our ways that it is at times difficult to take chances with our money especially when it seems everyone is cutting back. Now you can tighten your purse and hope for the best or you can bring a little joy into your life by making cost effective and environmentally friendly improvements to your bathroom. It is interesting to note that despite the dismal housing industry, interest in energy-efficient homes has not diminished. Sustainable building techniques are no longer considered a luxury but are a value-adding aspect to your home, ensuring you’re your bathroom renovations will be financially sound and pay off in the future? Holmes on Homes in New Orleans – Building Hope For The People!

I was recently watching a TV special on the Home and Garden TV Network (HGTV) about Mike Holmes of “Holmes on Homes” and his Canadian renovation crew, who on their own accord went down to New Orleans to help with the restoration of the Lower Ninth Ward which was the area that got hit by the brunt of Hurricane Katrina. What really struck me was that after three years the few people that had moved back were still fighting to get street lights turned back on and general conveniences like Read the rest of this entry »
